Welcome Home
My Agony
Bluebird
You
Every Day
Suddenly a bright green field,
Painted new each day,
As sunlights fleeting glimpse of gold
Pursues the mists that lay
Where fox has trod, and hedgehog hurried,
And badger went his way.

The square of sward,
Behind gentle trees,
Is as level as table top,
In blink of eye instant freeze,
And all stands still
In lifts cool breeze.

Though movement everywhereabouts
Distracts the flickering lid,
These fluttering strutters of mine
Perceive where time has hid,
And calculate the loss of space
And place a twenty minute bid.

This tower to God,
With twelve disciples in a ring,
Its own time warp
When hands together bring,
And keeps the puzzled watchers
On piece of elastic string.
