Welcome Home
My Agony
Bluebird
You
Every Day
Tight packed space,
Filled with drawer and shelf.
Racks of cards, and swivelling stand
With cars, to serve yourself.

Jars with sweets
Of colours bright,
And rows of chocolate bars
In shiny paper,
reflecting light
From bobbing, hanging stars.

The windows. square,
Filled every inch
With toys both big and small,
And message cards,
Reached at a pinch
To stop disasterous fall.

And at the back,
Behind plastered glass,
The Gnome of Zurich sits,
To sell his stamps,
Take parcels for Cbristmas,
Orders for souvenir kits.

This busy, lively, family place,
through small and pushed for room,
Soon opens up its heart to you,
And is no place for gloom.
