Light Of My Life
Darling
I thought at first
That this executive toy,
Without its strings,
Some Giants ploy.

And then my eye perceived
A line of sight,
The Sun by day,
The Stars by night.

This Stone Sextant
Marking out the Diamond Sky,
Each quadrant
Brilliant, where Constellations fly.
But soon my heart knew
That this ancient machine,
This moss pocked dialysis motor,
Radiation clean,
Would cure my ills,
No need of pills,
If three times my spine I lean.

I caressed One Upright,
Then, headfirst through The Ring,
Circled The Other, my hand so gently touching.
This circuit twice again was made,
And soon, with body flushing,
Glowing gold,
My bones no longer old.
Mother Earth my doctor bold.
