Yeah Yeah
Once upon a time
When leaders lead their men,
Showed them by example,
Relied little on the pen,
Valiant deeds were listed long
And heroes oft emerged,
Honour was an honorable word,
And laughter much observed.

Everyone knew their leader,
Knew him by his nickname kind,
They recognised his open face,
And in his eyes could find
Compassion and a great regard
For a well done task by patriot,
Repaid his wholesome deep endeavor
By comforting his yoke-like lot.

But leaders of this present time,
A beaurocratic, bumbling set,
Hide behind their tables tall,
Issue manifestoes, yet
Lead not at all by example plain,
Their knowledge stored in wielded stick,
Instincts dulled by computer brain,
And reasoning now glacier quick.

Our faceless leaders,
Lost amidst their board decisions,
Pass the buck
And parry expert tricky questions,
Take the praise where workers succeed,
Whose willing services donated,
But blarne them for poor quality
When management decisions are belated.
