Yeah Yeah
Falling through this rocky ravine,
Below the hanging weather,
A chase of hounds flew down the glen
Side stepping rocks and heather.

They clipped the walls at edge of field
Ignoring tight closed gate,
Their swinging black tipped rudders
Alert for high speed rate.
Leaping leisurely, gliding down,
Paws scarce in touch with earth,
And baying sound, echoing round,
Reverberates as mirth.

This dice with death by daring dogs,
Now strung in Indian file,
Soon shows watchers far below
The champion of this trial.

His stride is longer, direction true,
And eyes, binocular trained,
On prize waved proud at winning line,
As previous hardships disdained.

A sudden shout, and surge of throng,
As precisely measured rush
Ends in joyous confusion
With handlers hugging crush.
