Yeah Yeah
Words come in to mind
And find their way to tip of tongue,
To spill and spin
And grow so large from lung.

Words express our thoughts,
And desires, and hopes,
May save our life, perhaps
Become the hangmans ropes.

I prefer the time
Before the word is heard,
As thinking time is like alcohol tasted,
And pronouncement deferred.

A dozen ways to say
One tiny sound,
Whilst here, inside this cavernous camera,
A million pictures to be found.

Each image attracts, connects
With myriad other photographs precise,
Where sound is bound
To emulate the scampering mice.

Meaningless, and once said
Forever fixed and awful,
But still this kaleidoscope turns on,
Ceaseless change, and ever beautiful.
