Yeah Yeah
My weather man
Rides a bicycle.
No satellite above the clouds,
With infra red, to spot the change
Of curling, swirling, isobars.

My weather man
Feels the temperature
instantly.
His buzzing wheels
Transmit conditions
Of ice and snow,
And rain,
Of warm and dusty surface.
His fingers,
Firm and mobile,
or cold and stiff
With passing air,
Record the ambient degrees
of centigrade and fahrenheit.
His eyes perceive
The rustling leaves,
New green, or darkening red.
The sky of blue,
With watery disc, or brilliant fire,
Is immediately computed
To a sensible forecast.

My weather man
Rides a bicycle.
A mobile meteorological office,
To plot the change
Of curling, swirling, isobars.
