Enchantment
Yeah Yeah
A handfull of lead,
That dull and deadly mass,
Heated to a bubbling broth
Together with ash of grey
And sand of silver sheen,
Soon shaped by breath of moth.

The molten melt, on iron tube,
A glowing growing heat,
Is round and smooth and bright,
And slow release from boiling sun
Brings song to tuning tong,
And surface as Northern Light.

Now crouching human,
Styles, with diamond dust,
Lines of star burst trail,
And images spring to life
As spinning wheel cuts bright;
This brilliance makes Aurora pale.

The silky structure,
Gentle to lips and eyes,
And ideal for liquid toast,
Is as a pot of gold
At rainbows end;
The perfect crystal host.
