When I've nothing else to do
I sit and watch The Clouds float by,
I estimate their size and speed,
And the direction to which they fly.

Fascinated,
I open-mouth stare,
Watch their edges tumble, and change,
Whisper trails across The Sky,
Or solid, dark mass, mountain range.

And when The Sun
Breaks through at Dawn,
And Crows, and Starlings,
Start their foraging way,
The Red and Gold "battle standards",
Welcomes again The Glorious Day.

And still The Clouds paint their pattern
On the Ceiling, shining blue.
And still I sit,
Watching,
And leaving everything
For you
To do!
