In 2600 B.C. the stone temples of AVEBURY
were the wonder of the British Isles.

Nowhere was there so big a mound made by
loan higher than many of the hills around
it. Nowhere else was there a stone tomb
and barrow so long, nowhere was there a
hill top enclosure so large, and nowhere
was there a ditch so deep inside a bank so
vast aroused a stone circle so enormous.

There was nowhere like AVEBURY.

Four and a half thousand years later this
is still true.

Mound.
Tomb.
Enclosure.
Silbury Hill.
West Kennett long barrow.
Windmill Hill.
