Thirty Days ...
If I were a bull
And about to die
A loud Ole would complete my day.
The warmth of the sun would
Cool my blood, and ease my pain,
But my heart and strength
Forever more, would climb to the sky
Like a singing cloud.

For I would die a giant.

Against all odds, so brave I'd go,
With flaring nostrils and knife-like horns,
And sand, flying
Like a halo.

I'd leave my mark,
Though my spine is pierced,
And irritating picadors sidetrack my dimming view.
Snort. Strike at the ground,
And lower my head, once more
To throw my tormentor high.
My tail would fly.
And on I'd go,
To death,
To glory.

This is my day.

Ole!
