Thirty Days ...
Stand back and see the scene complete
The green grass and blue sky,
And in the ancient field fenced in
The caravans stand by.

Once a camel train was named
To match these mobile homes,
But travellers here use petrol power
To protect their fragile bones.

And where the rooms of skin did stand
With smokey atmospheres
A spectacle of colour now,
Blue, orange, green, appears.

These man made fibrous artifacts
Held high by frame of steel
Are but veneer to modern man
When, barefoot, grass can feel.

If we could walk in loincloth yet,
In sunshine warmed long days,
With velvet nights complete with stars,
And food before evenings haze,
Even then I'd make myself
A rope and canvas maze.
