When I stand
Alone
At Avebury, Callanish. Stonehenge . . . . . ,
I hear not my heartbeat,
Feel not the sound in my ear,
See not this view where Chess-Men stand tall.

When I stand alone at these Sacred Places,
My calls of praise,
My up-raised hands,
My very being.
Unheard, unseen.
For I am become invisible.

Soon
These Bold Blocks too are gone,
We are both removed from This Time.
Lost to vision
Where this Miracle of Gravity
Has released its hold.

We should be so bold
To think that we are the only ones
To rise into the Ether unaided.

This Magic in my mind
Where Ancient Mans Monuments
Warm. and colour the Atmosphere
Is not of my making.
This Dream-Machine that overcomes
My learned Civilised senses
And frees my subconscious thoughts,
My automatic reactions and beliefs,
Is but the Rule Book,
Written at Lifes Beginning,
Which allows
That
All things are possible!

HERE WE GO!
