Finally
There are no straight lines in space
where time is but an attitude of mind,
Where speed a cruising constellation,
Soon lost behind a black hole, blind.

There travel is on a curving course,
Instantaneous, though motion free,
In this endless, boundless velvet night,
Twinkling, shining constantly.

It seems therefore, which ever point of compass
Is calling this free heart,
However far the edge of time,
The finishing place is also the start.

I would wish to begin my Journey
By Roags ragged shore,
To see the stars grow, then slow,
To step through time slip door
And wander among the long ice tails,
And rings, and far flung world,
To arrive again on welcome coast
Where stones stand lined, and curled.
