Do You...
Darling
We rolled into Town,
After fighting the gale
On the crags of Lands End,
Where we saw not one sail,
We twisted and turned
Between each small shop,
And after the crossroads
We did a long stop,
We ran to a building
Made wet by the cloud,
Climbed stairs for our cream Tea,
Which we swallowed, out loud.
Our eyes saw the tables,
The chairs and the wall.
We wiped the steamed windows,
Watched the grey clouds fall,
Until, we saw a Mound of green,
Tucked in tight
Where a house should have been.

Later
We strolled across this Matadors Maze,
A Medieval playground on a Celtic beige,
A Roman Arena, an iron Age Site,
A Bronze Age clock
Where Historic Men gaze.
