Do You...
Darling
I saw your glow
Lost in the depths of tree,
Warmed by enveloping branch,
Painting your position for me.

Your size and shape
Diminished, enhanced,
Straight edges rounded
Where green leaves danced.

You kept your place,
So secret, in line.
You hid your face
And saw not mine
Until I climbed the way
To hug you tight,
That most strange day.

You were not shocked
And returned my greeting,
Your warm thoughts warmed
At this friendly meeting.

You thanked me for coming,
I said "Not at all".
And on my return to Trefiggian,
I felt That I was nearly ten feet tall.
