Toyah is all woman
And wows them in the aisles,
The colours, and the dance she weaves
With clothes of new rage styles,

Her lisping lips stole my heart.

Now of late
I hear that sound,
I stop and search and listen,
And my heart stumbles,
Or cries, or smiles,
As I see those lips that glisten.

That curling tongue,
Upon pearl white teeth,

Is a magnet to my eyes.
And notes produced,
Is as a symphony
To wash over my soft sighs.

Though words are grand
No meaning is clear
In my besotted mind,
For I can only concentrate

On movement that captivates.
Pure mark of woman kind.

When Lilian won the world
With her running and her charm,
And gave to her admirers
Opinions to disarm,

Her lisping lips stole my heart.
