Tomorrow
The blackness of The Night,
Matched here in The Shade,
Diamonds twinkling in The Sky,
Here, Glow Worms shining in The Glade.

The curving Rock,
Smoothed by Wind and Sand,
Caressed and painted
By many a loving hand.

Curling smoke
Has left its blush,
The passing centuries
Have left their hush,
And well-used patch,
Now green and lush,
Has locked away forever
A Way of Life.

Implements of Stone and Flint
Buried beneath the Sheeps spent lint,
Bones of Wolf and Sabre Tooth,
All now hide where once was Truth.

Where once, The Golden Sun
Streamed its light when Day begun,
And in the Evening, soft and still,
Warmed the Open Portal, 'till
The Stars, once more
Glazed their pattern on the floor,
And Arth Vawr stood guard,
Outside the door!

Oldbury,
Wrotham,
Kent.
