When I say ages, it's probably never more than a few minutes between each one, but I just have to tell you what happened on Saturday afternoon.

We were going up Woodlands Road towards the top to do the left turn into Laburnum Crescent. Getting reasonably near, we checked centre and left mirrors, then put the left indicator on. There's a car parked opposite the junction and a car in it waiting to turn right. Another car close behind us.

The moment the indicator goes on, the car in the junction moves out towards us on our side of the road because of the parked car. I checked after and there is a give way line at the junction. Of course, we had to stop so that we didn't have a head on crash.

So as we did the hill start, the car behind overtakes us and turns left in front of us, just missing taking out our right front wing. We had to stop again.

Then having cleared the junction, and actually into Laburnum Crescent, parked cars on the right meant that the car coming towards us should give us priority. They drove straight at us on our side of the road, barely missing us, even though we were stationary, again!!!

So 3 idiots in a matter of 10 seconds, and that's not counting the one that parked opposite the junction in the first place! The worst thing is, those other drivers will never know that they did anything wrong, and I will never get the chance to tell them!
